Boarding the plane!

We made it to Minneapolis and will be on the plane in about 15 minutes!!! The song "all my bags are packed I'm ready to go" has been an earworm in my head all morning! Glad we are here and even happier to get to the Philippines!!!!

Caleb is already doing a good job traveling, although nervous for the plane ride. He hasn't been flying since he was about 9 months, so of course he doesn't recall the flight. All is good though. He is busy eating an early Burger King lunch and asking which electronic device he can use first.  :)

Talk again in Tokyo hopefully! Will try to let you know how the flight goes. 13 hours - here we come!!!

Then you, like myself and Jon, are wrong!!!! These are Pineapple Fields! Pineapples are grown from the ground! When this is ready to pick, the pineapple will be sitting straight up on top of the soil.  Road side stop to see the pineapple fields also allowed us to see t...

Siblings not by choice

Siblings.  Not by blood, not by choice, not by the perfect of circumstances. Siblings. Placed together by the hands of God. Placed together through love. May not get along through many circumstances, but love each other with a love most will never understand.

Four years.

Four years. Four years ago today, our second blessing jumped into our arms for the first time. Four years ago today, these two became brothers and best friends. Four years ago today, all our worlds changed. And yet, how can it have only been four years? Feels like he has been our son from day one. The Lord blessed us ten-fold the day we met you, my son, our Tope. My world is better with you in it.
